The jars look very nice, just like the picture. The “paint” on one of the jars was already scratched off when I got it so I don’t know how long the finish will last, making me question the quality

I'm very impressed with the quality of the rods, brackets and rod rings. The metal is sturdy and the brushed brass looks great. The screws and wall plugs are a bit too short to hold up the weight of the rods securely, so I used my own longer screw and wall plugs, which was a simple fix. The adjustable rods meant I could add the finials and then extend the rods all the way right to the end of each walls so that my block curtains have complete coverage.
Ahmed's Textiles' service was excellent. The rods were couriered to me in Cape Town and arrived much sooner than expected.

The Gemsy 0303 is a flat-bed style waking foot machine for use on medium & heavy weight materials.
Good for leather, vinyl and heavy work when straight stitching.
It features a top feed walking foot and bottom feed system, with an alternating foot lift mechanism that is suitable to sew medium & medium-heavy weight materials such as leather, synthetics, canvas, plastics, webbing, upholstery, tarpaulin plus heavier than normal standard fabrics.
This Machine is also Suitable to stitch Sandles & Belts
The balanced sewing machine head benefits from automatic lubrication to reduce wear & tear, resulting in improved durability, lower noise levels, smoother running and minimal maintenance costs.
The fitting of a large hook & base as standard, reduces the number of bobbin changes and helps when using the thicker threads associated with heavier than normal materials.
Thick sewing needles are used from size 110 up-to the extra thick size 180.
It comes complete with sewing machine table and motor. (Assembly is required)
